SPUMANTE EXTRA DRY
Rosé 51 is the new sparkling rosé from Cantine Lebovitz, made from Salamino and Sorbara grapes in equal proportions. Like its twin, sparkling white Bianco 51, the name recalls the year Cantine Lebovitz was founded by Luigi Lebovitz.
The combination of these grapes produces an extra dry sparkling wine with strong fruity and acidulous hints that make it extremely thirst quenching. Its characteristic dryness and low alcohol content mean it is ideal in a wide variety of situations, from informal aperitifs to sushi. The delicate taste backed up by a rich olfactory bouquet gives it body and character.
To preserve the fine perlage, freshness and aroma of this sparkling wine, serve below 8° C. Combine with cold or warm food, especially fish or vegetables.
Colour nuances range from pale pink to old pink, with a pale and evanescent froth.
Aromas of fruit and wild plants, especially grapefruit and honeysuckle.
Sensation of dryness with a sweet taste backed up by a distinct hint of sourness.
COMBINING WITH FOODS
Rosé 51 is a wine for all meals, especially well-suited to accompanying appetizers. However, freshwater fish and cold summer dishes, from classic ham and melon to a more complex Japanese raw fish menu all go equally well with the new sparkling wine from Cantine Lebovitz. There is no need for a special occasion to uncork a bottle: anything from an informal drink with friends to a really special fish dinner is a good time to try out this very fruity extra dry sparkling wine.
