Its picturesque name intrigues, though it ironically refers to its ability to stain tablecloths irreparably given its red, almost black, color. A blend of various Lambruscos, it has a vibrant purple head that immediately evokes the cuisine and cured meats of the Bassa. Aromas of blueberry, raspberry, and cherry, it goes down beautifully, especially when drunk chilled.

Lebovitz is a historical name for Lombard Lambrusco wine produced in the southern part of the province of Mantua. Of this Mantuan Lambrusco we like the name, of course, but we cannot stop at that. Here, in fact, is a frank, open wine with beautiful violet mousse, scented with blueberry, raspberry and violet, fully satisfying in the mouth, with a touch of rusticity that gives it directness.

Strong purple color with a persistent purple mousse. Fruity olfactions with balsamic hints. In the mouth the fruit is crisp with a nice vertical freshness.

One of the most popular wines this year, Al Scagarün is a Lambrusco re-fermented in the bottle and obtained from Ruberti, Maestri and Marani grapes, with a small percentage of Ancellotta. Its impenetrable colour is accompanied by a rather elegant sour cherry bouquet and a jovial vivacity on the palate. It is dry and persistent, pleasing and harmonious.

Powerfully emerging this year is the vitality and fresh fruitiness of Scagarün 15, a Lambrusco with an impenetrable colour and a certain elegant charm.
